Meet Steve
Steve, owner of SG Assured Renovations, has been working in construction since he was 16. Originally from Owen Sound, Ontario, he learned early that if a job's worth doing, it's worth doing right — a work ethic that's stayed with him across a career spanning more than 40 years.
As a union carpenter and concrete former, Steve has worked across Toronto, the GTA, Kingston, and Ottawa. He's helped build high-rise buildings, supervised municipal water treatment facilities, worked at Hydro One transformer stations, and contributed to the Parliament Hill Heritage Restoration Project and the Ottawa LRT — alongside countless homes, renovations, additions, and foundations.
Today he and his wife are restoring a century-old home in Edwardsburgh Cardinal — a daily reminder of what homeowners go through when they renovate, and why good workmanship matters. This isn't a company with salespeople or subcontractors. When you call, you're talking directly with Steve, and he's the one doing the work.
